New content featuring CoComelon characters and Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll to debut in early 2026, with additional collaborations to follow
BALI, INDONESIA – June 25, 2025 – Moonbug Entertainment, the award-winning global entertainment company behind CoComelon and Blippi, today announced a new partnership with Sanrio, the iconic lifestyle brand known for Hello Kitty. The multi-year collaboration will span co-branded content alongside broader consumer initiatives.
This includes a new crossover series featuring Sanrio and CoComelon characters — with Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and other popular Sanrio characters joining JJ and his pals. The series will debut in 2026 and Moonbug will lead global distribution of the series.
The partnership was previewed during a fireside chat by Kevin Mayer, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Candle Media, at the APOS Summit in Bali. Candle Media is the parent company of Moonbug Entertainment.
