Moonbug Launches its First “Blippi & Friends” Channel in Asia Through its Partnership with Astro

The channel, targeted at kids 4-8 years old includes the entire Blippi universe of shows and further strengthens Moonbug’s partnership with the streaming platform

LONDON, UK – 24 September 2024 – Moonbug Entertainment, a part of Candle Media, today announced its deal with Astro in Malaysia to bring Blippi & Friends to a wider audience, further expanding the reach of some of its most beloved kids entertainment shows. This marks the first Blippi & Friends channel in Asia, and on demand content will be available across Astro's TV and OTT platforms including NJOI and Sooka. The Blippi & Friends channel named after Moonbug’s top-rated live-action preschool brand, caters to children aged 4-8 years of age and includes a daily segment targeted to younger preschoolers. Shows included are Blippi and the entire universe of Blippi, including Meekah, Blippi specials, Blippi Wonders, Oddbods, Supa Strikas, Insectibles, T-Rex, Arpo, Mia's Magic Playground, Antiks and others.The collaboration between Astro and Moonbug is particularly important as it not only strengthens the existing relationship with a key strategic partner in the region but also builds on Moonbug's existing success. Moonbug is the #1 international kids channel on the Astro Kids pack.The new channel is designed to integrate seamlessly into the daily routine of family life, offering enriching, engaging, and entertaining content throughout the day.
