CoComelon Teams Up with Brian Kelly, Founder of The Points Guy, To Create The Ultimate Holiday Travel Guide for Parents

The New Guide for Parents Lists Recommended Family-Friendly Airlines, Airports, Frequent Flyer Miles and Features Tips, Destinations, and Packing Essentials for This Holiday Season

LOS ANGELES, CA – Nov. 19, 2024 – Today, travel expert and internet personality Brian Kelly, Founder of The Points Guy, teamed up with Moonbug Entertainment, a part of Candle Media, to create The CoComelon Holiday Travel Guide. The comprehensive guide offers a listing of Brian’s favorite family-friendly airlines, airports, frequent flier programs, budget-friendly planning, and more, helping to put parents’ minds at ease during the hectic holiday season with tips and trade secrets for a stress-free travel experience.

CoComelon supports parents through their child’s earliest life milestones, from bath time to potty training. Now, CoComelon can help with a child’s first trip, which can be a stressful time for families. Of 2,000 parents surveyed in 2021, 71% stated that holiday time is the most stressful time to plan family trips. Earlier today, CoComelon released a music video for “The Travel Song,” a new song to help families through the milestone, following JJ’s first trip and the challenges that come up.

To commemorate this milestone, CoComelon enlisted Brian Kelly, a travel expert and father, to create an additional resource for parents through the CoComelon Holiday Travel Guide. Brian’s two-year-old son has already journeyed to 16 countries and counting. Brian uses his firsthand experience as a parent and traveler to pick his favorite airlines and destinations, and share his personal list of family travel tips and packing essentials. What results is a resource parents and caregivers can consult to make better travel decisions, ensuring their holiday trips are both enjoyable and memorable.

The CoComelon Holiday Travel Guide includes Brian’s personal picks for:

  • Family-friendly airlines: Find out why JetBlue and Delta topped Brian’s list of U.S. airlines, and which international airline offers infant seats and free toys for kids.

  • Top airports with amenities for children: Discover which airports around the world have special play and sensory experiences areas, and which ones offer family security lanes to make layovers more enjoyable.

  • Hotels suited for families: Explore hotels that offer perks like adjoining rooms, free breakfast for kids, and kid-friendly amenities.

  • Kid-approved destinations: Plan trips to family-friendly spots, from national parks to international locations.

  • Practical packing lists and travel tips: Get insights on packing, avoiding lines, and making the most of travel reward programs.

“As a dad, I know firsthand how chaotic holiday travel with kids can be and 71% of parents agree,” said Brian Kelly, founder of The Points Guy. “By combining CoComelon’s kid-approved magic with some tried-and-true travel tips that won’t break the bank, we’re aiming to take a little stress out of the journey and make family travel more accessible —and maybe even fun—this season.”

“CoComelon has always been there to entertain, educate, and support kids and their parents through their biggest moments, from first steps to first days of school,” said Katelynn Heil, Head of Brand Marketing and Franchise Strategy, Moonbug Entertainment. “Whether families are traveling to a far away vacation or down the street to a loved one, we’re thrilled to partner with Brian Kelly to offer families the CoComelon Holiday Travel Guide, with tools to help make family travel smoother, even through those potentially stressful moments.”
